June 15, 2026 NEW YORK, NY What started as a wild victory lap for the New York Knicks turned into an absolute nightmare for prominent Twitch streamer Nina Lin Saturday night.

Lin, known to her 537,000 followers as NinaDaddyisBack, found herself trading her streaming setup for a pair of handcuffs in Midtown Manhattan after a high-stakes stunt went completely off the rails.

The Stunt That Stopped Midtown Traffic

The chaos unfolded around 9:30 p.m. at the bustling intersection of 42nd Street and 6th Avenue, right outside Bryant Park. As Knicks fans flooded the streets to celebrate a massive win, Lin decided to take the party to dangerous new heights.

Clambering onto the roof of a moving Amazon delivery vehicle, Lin began filming content for her massive fanbase. Within minutes, a massive crowd swarmed the vehicle, bringing traffic to a grinding halt and drawing the immediate attention of the New York Police Department.

Officers quickly surrounded the truck, demanding Lin climb down. Footage from the scene caught a defiant Lin handing off her expensive gear to her cameraman just seconds before her arrest.

“They are not going to arrest you, s**t,” Lin confidently told her crew.

She was dead wrong.

From the Roof to a Jail Cell

Instead of a helping hand, Lin was immediately slapped with handcuffs and taken into custody for disorderly conduct. The streamer later admitted she genuinely thought the police were just helping her dismount and had no clue she was actually being detained.

Lin spent the rest of the night locked up, finally being released with a desk appearance ticket around 4:00 a.m. But true to form, she didn't let a jail cell dampen her team spirit.

“I celebrated the fking Knicks win in the cell,” Lin later told her viewers during an explosive recap stream. “How the fk I celebrate the Knicks in the cell?”

The Ultimate Betrayal: "How Do You Run Off?!"

While the arrest was shocking enough, the real drama started after Lin was put in the back of the police cruiser.

Once she was freed, Lin took to her stream to unleash a furious tirade against her cameraman. Apparently, the moment the cuffs went on, her trusted crew member made a run for it—taking all of her most valuable possessions with him.

“How the fk are you a cameraman, and you run off?” Lin vented to her audience. “He has my setup, he has my tripod, he has my portable, he has my passport. I fly to Bali tomorrow night.”

With her gear missing, her passport in the wind, and a future court date on her calendar, Lin's wild night of New York celebration has left her stranded and scrambling.
