The NYPD has launched a massive manhunt for two dangerous individuals who turned a routine weekday morning commute into a bloody crime scene aboard a New York City transit bus.

The disturbing encounter unfolded at approximately 8:30 a.m. on June 5, aboard an M104 MTA bus as it rolled through the usually bustling intersection of Broadway and West 92nd Street.

According to police sources, the catalyst for the violence was a displays of pure intimidation. Two men began aggressively yelling at a mother with a baby carriage, demanding she get out of their way.

While other commuters stayed silent, the 74-year-old victim refused to look the other way. He stepped between the aggressive pair and the young mother, calmly asking the men to leave her alone.

The senior's attempt to de-escalate the situation was met with explosive rage. The two suspects immediately lunged at the elderly Good Samaritan, unleashing a vicious barrage of punches to his head and body.
