Gun Violence on the Rise in 75th Precinct

New York. According to the latest NYPD CompStat data as of July 20, 2025, there have already been 24 shooting incidents in the precinct this year. This number is alarmingly close to the 32 shootings recorded for the entirety of 2024, suggesting a potential escalation in gun violence as the year progresses.
