Kaseem Stukes, 44, is the man police say ended the lives of his family members before turning the gun on himself on November 6th. The senseless slaughter has left neighbors reeling and asking a devastating question: Why?

NYPD sources indicate that Stukes allegedly used a gun to kill his family on the 5th floor of their apartment building. The victims found inside the apartment included:

• Theresa Stukes, 75: Kaseem's mother.
• Kianna Stukes, 26: Kaseem's daughter.
• Andrew Reynoso, 33: Kianna's boyfriend, found near the front door.

Kaseem Stukes was found on a couch with a fatal, self-inflicted gunshot wound. A firearm was recovered from his body. Police sources found no signs of forced entry, leading investigators to conclude that Kaseem Stukes was the sole perpetrator of the tragedy.

A Troubled Past and Devastated Neighbors

However, the neighborhood's grief is focused on the victims, particularly Theresa Stukes, who was beloved by residents. Known as one of the "Golden Girls" of the apartment complex, Theresa was described as energetic, kind, and always smiling.
