September 18, 2025 BRONX, NY — A routine Friday afternoon turned into a scene of shocking violence, leaving a 30-year-old man with a gruesome injury and the community of the 40th Precinct in fear. At approximately 4:34 p.m. on September 12, 2025, a victim was approached from behind by two unidentified individuals in front of 518 East 138th Street.
In a brazen and unprovoked attack, one of the assailants used a sharp object to slash the victim, carving a deep wound from the back of his neck to the front of his face. The suspects fled the scene, last seen heading northbound on Brook Avenue. The motive for the brutal assault remains unclear, and authorities are urging the public for any information that could lead to the capture of these dangerous individuals.
