July 3, 2025 Bronx, NY – A concerning trend has emerged in the Bronx, as police appeal to the public for assistance in locating three teenage girls who have disappeared from separate homes within the past two weeks. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is urging residents to remain vigilant and report any information that could lead to their safe return.

Missing: Princess Garrett, 14, West Farms

Fourteen-year-old Princess Garrett has been missing since June 20. She was last seen leaving her apartment building near Morris Park Avenue and East Tremont Avenue in West Farms around 6 p.m. Garrett is described as approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. Details about her clothing at the time of her disappearance are currently unavailable.

Missing: April Arroyo, 13, Concourse Village

Thirteen-year-old April Arroyo vanished from her home in Concourse Village on June 27. She was last seen at approximately 5:30 p.m. near Findlay Avenue and East 169th Street. Arroyo is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and was last observed wearing a black sweater, blue pants, and gray and red sneakers.

Missing: Janyelis Conde, 12, Longwood

The most recent disappearance is that of twelve-year-old Janyelis Conde, which we brought to you earlier this week.  She has been missing from her Longwood residence near Fox Street and East 163rd Street since June 30. Conde left her home around 1 p.m. and has not returned. She is described as approximately 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt, black pants, and blue Nike sneakers.

Police Investigate, Motives Unknown

In all three cases, NYPD officials have stated they do not have information regarding the reasons why these young girls left their homes. The circumstances surrounding their disappearances remain under active investigation.
