Authorities are seeking a male suspect described as wearing a brown shirt and brown shorts. The alarming assault unfolded around 8:50 a.m. near the intersection of 48th Avenue and 111th Street, a popular area within the expansive Queens park.

According to NYPD reports, the victim was initially approached by the suspect, who spoke in a manner she found unintelligible. The interaction quickly escalated when the assailant allegedly hurled a plastic water bottle at the woman before placing her in a chokehold. Following the assault, the suspect fled the scene, vanishing into the park. The unconscious woman was transported to a local hospital for medical attention. Her current condition has not been released.
