June 23, 2025 BROOKLYN, N.Y. – A senseless act of violence at a Brooklyn laundromat on Sunday night has left a community reeling. A father was killed and his son injured in a brutal stabbing stemming from an argument that escalated and spilled into the business, according to sources close to the investigation.
The tragic incident unfolded around 10:40 p.m. at a laundromat located at 39 Neptune Avenue. Police confirmed that a 54-year-old man suffered a fatal stab wound to the chest. His 19-year-old son sustained a laceration to his forehead, an injury that, while serious, is fortunately not life-threatening.
Sources indicate the father and son became embroiled in a dispute outside the laundromat. The altercation then tragically moved indoors, culminating in the fatal stabbing.
As of Monday morning, authorities have not released a description of the suspect. No arrests have been made, and the NYPD investigation remains active and ongoing.
