July 18, 2025 ASTORIA, QUEENS – A quiet Thursday night in Astoria turned violent when a 17-year-old was stabbed outside a gym, reportedly while defending a friend from an attack. The incident, which occurred just before midnight near Steinway Street, is the latest in a concerning trend of rising felony assaults in the 114th Precinct.
