July 28, 2025 BROOKLYN, NY – Brooklyn detectives are on the hunt for the individual responsible for shooting and wounding a teenager in the Ocean Hill neighborhood early Sunday morning, July 27. The incident, which left an 18-year-old male hospitalized, is currently under active investigation.
According to police sources, officers from the 81st Precinct swiftly responded to an urgent call regarding a shooting just after midnight. Their destination: an apartment building at 2100 Fulton Street in Ocean Hill.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the victim on the street, suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg. He was immediately transported to Brookdale University Hospital. Fortunately, medical personnel confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening.
The exact location where the shooting occurred remains unclear, with investigators exploring the possibility that the incident may have taken place while the victim was in transit. As of now, authorities have not released a motive for the shooting, nor do they have a description of the suspect. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
