Ambushed on Grand Avenue

Just before 7:00 p.m., horror struck the busy neighborhood near 2525 Grand Avenue. According to law enforcement sources, 39-year-old Klint French was standing on the sidewalk outside his home when an assailant opened fire without warning.

A barrage of gunfire shattered the evening quiet. Responding officers from the 52nd Precinct rushed to the scene following frantic 911 calls, discovering French lying on the pavement with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Emergency Medical Services arrived shortly after, but there was nothing they could do—French was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crime scene investigators recovered at least seven shell casings scattered across the concrete, signaling a relentless, targeted attack meant to ensure the victim didn't survive.

The Hunt and Arrest

Mcintosh now faces serious felony charges:
