The blood-chilling incident unfolded just before midnight on Sunday, July 20, turning a routine commute into a scene of absolute chaos and terror inside the Crown Heights neighborhood.
The Struggle and the Gunshot
The young victim was quietly waiting for a downtown 2 train at the President St-Medgar Evers College station when a ruthless predator approached her.
According to NYPD sources, the suspect targeted the teenager and tried to violently rip her purse away. Showing immense bravery, the young woman resisted, triggering a desperate physical struggle for her property on the platform.
