June 30, 2025 Bronx, NY – A 28-year-old man is recovering after a brutal stabbing attack aboard a southbound 2 train in the Bronx Saturday night. The victim, who has not been identified, sustained multiple stab wounds to the neck and chest but is reportedly in stable condition.

The violent incident unfolded just before 10:20 p.m. as the train approached the 225th Street station. According to NYPD sources, a group of approximately 15 teenagers fled the scene immediately after the assault.

The motive behind the nearly deadly dispute remains unclear. Emergency services transported the victim to Jacobi Hospital.

Police have made no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing. This incident highlights ongoing concerns about subway safety.
