The brazen daylight robbery occurred at the Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenue subway station, leaving commuters shaken and authorities urging public assistance.
The victim was riding a southbound L train just after 12:15 p.m. when she was accosted by a stranger. According to police, the suspect made a threatening statement before forcibly ripping the $700 chain from her neck. The assailant then fled the station in an unknown direction and remains at large. Thankfully, the victim was not physically injured during the harrowing encounter.

He is described as having a medium complexion, a beard, and a mustache.
