July 25, 2025 KINGSBRIDGE, The Bronx – New York City Police are on the hunt for a man accused of brutally assaulting a pizza shop employee in a broad daylight incident earlier this month. The attack, which left a 42-year-old worker with significant facial injuries, occurred at a popular Kingsbridge eatery after the suspect allegedly attempted to dine and dash.

The shocking event unfolded on July 16th at approximately 3:23 p.m. at Tony's Pizza, located in the bustling Kingsbridge neighborhood. According to preliminary police reports, a man attempted to exit the establishment without settling his bill. When a quick-thinking employee intervened, he was met with a violent response.

Police confirmed the suspect repeatedly punched the employee in the face, inflicting multiple lacerations, severe bruising, and considerable swelling. The injured worker was promptly transported to SBH Health System for medical attention following the assault.
