COLLEGE POINT, Queens – A tranquil Queens neighborhood was shattered Thursday night by a fatal shooting, and police have swiftly taken a person of interest into custody. The incident, which left a 50-year-old man dead, marks a troubling uptick in gun violence for the College Point precinct.
