September 23, 2026 THe BRONX, NY A quiet Monday morning in Kingsbridge turned into a scene of pure terror when a maniac launched a brutal, unprovoked assault on an unsuspecting 60-year-old man standing outside an apartment building.
The horrific ambush occurred around 8:43 a.m. on September 21 directly in front of 2710 Sedgwick Avenue. The victim was simply standing on the sidewalk talking to another person when the attacker crept up from behind and struck without warning.
Bludgeoned and Slashed: A Savage Morning Ambush
Law enforcement sources describe a ruthless sequence of events that escalation in seconds:

Blunt Object Attack: The perpetrator initially struck the 60-year-old victim over the head with an unidentified heavy object.

Vicious Slashing: As the stunned victim reeled from the hit, the assailant pulled out a box cutter and sliced the man across the left side of his neck.
