The blood-chilling incident marks yet another violent chapter in a borough currently battling a staggering spike in homicides.

The Fatal Confrontation Inside Kennedy Fried Chicken

The nightmare began unfolding at approximately 12:50 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27. An unidentified male customer, believed to be in his 40s, was eating inside the Kennedy Fried Chicken at 2788 Fulton St. in Cypress Hills.

According to police sources, an argument suddenly erupted between the victim and an unknown assailant inside the restaurant. The dispute rapidly turned physical, transforming the eatery into a chaotic crime scene.

Chased Into the Street and Left for Dead

The violence couldn't be contained within the restaurant walls. The brawl spilled out onto the dark pavement of Fulton Street, where the attacker pulled out a weapon and mercilessly stabbed the victim in both the chest and the back.

The bleeding victim collapsed onto the asphalt as the murderer fled into the night. No description of the killer has been made available yet.

The grim aftermath was discovered moments later by an on-duty sanitation worker who stumbled upon the dying man lying in the street. The worker immediately dialed 911, prompting a massive response from the 75th Precinct and EMS.

The victim was rushed to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, but it was too late. He was pronounced dead, entering the system as an unidentified "John Doe."
