February 10, 2026 NEW YORK, NY A Manhattan courtroom fell into a heavy, haunted silence on Monday as a witness recounted a high school celebration that spiraled into a waking nightmare. What was supposed to be a senior year trip to Colorado became the focal point of a federal sex trafficking trial, with the Alexander brothers—Alon and Oren—at the center of the storm.
A "Senior Trip" Turned Trap
In January 2017, the witness and her friends were just teenagers looking to celebrate their upcoming graduation. At a packed nightclub, the group was allegedly intercepted by Alon Alexander. The testimony painted a predatory picture: upon learning the witness was only 17, Alon reportedly replied, “That’s hot.”
The victim described a disturbing sequence of events at the club table:
-
Non-consensual contact: Alon allegedly lifted her sweater to inspect her body.
-
Suspected Drugging: After consuming two drinks prepared by Alon, the witness felt a sensation unlike any alcohol buzz—a "heavy head" and a terrifying feeling that her body was "severed" from her brain.
The "Afterparty" That Wasn't
Lured by the promise of a crowded afterparty, the girls followed the brothers to a location that turned out to be a dark, empty hotel room. It was there, the witness testified through sobs, that the environment shifted from celebratory to predatory.
The details provided to the jury were visceral. The witness described being forced into a bathroom where she was raped, recounting the physical pain and the sheer terror of wanting the assault to stop. In a heartbreaking moment of trauma-induced shock, she testified that she began cleaning up her own blood from the floor, apologizing to her attacker while he told her she should "never apologize" for it.
A Trial of Power and Precision
The defense attempted to stall the proceedings Monday, citing a juror’s hospitalization with the flu. However, U.S. District Judge Valerie Caproni showed no interest in delays, seating an alternate and allowing the testimony to move forward.

The prosecution hammered home the brothers' alleged intent by revealing a text message sent from Alon to Oren shortly after the encounter:
“I took down a 17-year-old.”
It’s Not About the Money
While the defense pointed to a civil suit filed by the witness, she was quick to dismantle any narrative of financial gain.
"My father is a billionaire," she told the court. "I don’t need their money. I just don’t want them to have it." Her motivation, she stated, was a matter of poetic justice: they took something from her at 17 that she didn't want to give; now, she intends to take from them the one thing they value most.
The trial continues as the Alexander brothers face 12 counts of sex trafficking and assault, alongside their older brother, Tal.
