February 25, 2026 QUEENS, NY The hallways of P.S. 16 in Corona are supposed to be a sanctuary for education. But behind the professional veneer of Assistant Principal Bond Ng, federal prosecutors allege a dark, lucrative secondary career: acting as the "manager" and pimp for a California-based adult film performer.

On Tuesday, the 47-year-old educator stood before a federal judge in Brooklyn, trading his school office for a courtroom as details of a sordid interstate prostitution ring came to light.

$2,000 Per Session: The Price of a Secret Life

According to the federal criminal complaint, Ng wasn’t just a passive observer. He is accused of meticulously coordinating sexual encounters for a Los Angeles woman, identified only as "Person-1."

Text messages recovered by investigators allegedly show Ng haggling over prices and specific acts. The "menu" of services reportedly started at $2,000, with $500 surcharges for unprotected or high-risk acts.

The "Grooming" Allegation and the Colombian Connection

While Ng’s defense team, led by Michael Schneider, argues that the arrangement was between consenting adults and lacked "coercion," the prosecution paints a much more predatory picture.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel Amzallag suggested in court that Ng may have "groomed" the victim, who was reportedly inexperienced in the sex trade when their association began in 2021. Furthermore, the feds are looking into whether this goes deeper than a one-woman operation.

Investigators are scrutinizing Ng’s frequent "micro-trips" to Medellin and Cartagena, Colombia—regions notorious as global hubs for human trafficking. Ng was intercepted by Homeland Security at JFK Airport on Sunday immediately following one of these short trips.

Out on Bond, But Under Watch

Despite the gravity of the allegations and the prosecution's push for house arrest, Judge Vera Scanlon released Ng on a $150,000 bond, co-signed by his sister.

The conditions of his release are strict:

  • He must report the arrest to the NYC Department of Education immediately.

  • He is prohibited from contacting anyone involved in prostitution.

  • His travel is restricted to New York.

Interestingly, the judge declined a request to bar Ng from being around minors, as the current charges do not involve children. However, the political fallout was instantaneous. State Senator Jessica Ramos took to social media to demand his immediate removal, stating, "Our schools must be places of safety, trust, and integrity."

What’s Next for P.S. 16?

The Department of Education has remained tight-lipped, deferring all inquiries to federal authorities. As the investigation pivots toward a potential "wider human trafficking scheme," the community is left wondering how an administrator charged with guiding the next generation could allegedly be moonlighted in the underworld of exploitation.

Ng has not yet entered a formal plea.
