June 14, 2025 BRONX, N.Y. – A quiet Bronx intersection became the scene of a tragic slaying early Saturday morning when a 27-year-old man was discovered fatally shot inside a vehicle. The incident, which occurred around 2:03 a.m. at Givan Avenue and Palmer Avenue, has prompted an ongoing investigation by authorities.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting and, upon arrival, found the victim in a 2012 gray Infiniti sedan. He had sustained three gunshot wounds to the chest and was unconscious and unresponsive.

Emergency Medical Services quickly transported the man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead.

As of Saturday, police are withholding the victim's identity pending notification of his family.

Investigation Underway, No Arrests Made

The investigation into the deadly shooting is active and ongoing. Detectives are working to piece together the circumstances that led to the incident.

 

Authorities have not yet released any information regarding potential suspects or a possible motive for the shooting. The community awaits answers as police continue their efforts to bring those responsible to justice.
