July 2, 2025 QUEENS, NY – A quiet Queens street became a crime scene over the weekend when a 32-year-old California man was discovered fatally shot inside a parked car. Police identified the victim as Mujibullah Ghulamhazrat.

Authorities responded to a call on Sunday around 1:40 p.m., finding Ghulamhazrat unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head inside a Buick sedan. The vehicle was located in front of 135-22 97 Street.

Emergency personnel pronounced Ghulamhazrat dead at the scene. As of Tuesday evening, no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide, and the investigation is actively ongoing. Police have not yet released a description of a possible suspect.
