October 20, 2025 QUEENS, N.Y. — A violent, early-morning incident in Jamaica, Queens, has claimed the life of a young man, leaving investigators scrambling for answers. The fatal stabbing, which occurred inside a residential building, marks another grim chapter in the city's ongoing struggle with violent crime.

The Scene of the Crime

The tranquility of the early hours was shattered at approximately 1:51 a.m. Sunday when officers from the 103rd Precinct descended upon the premises at 9402 Sutphin Boulevard. Police were responding to an urgent 911 call reporting a male stabbed inside the location.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered a 21-year-old man suffering from a critical stab wound to the abdomen. Emergency medical personnel were immediately called to the scene. The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in critical condition, but despite efforts by medical staff, he was later pronounced dead.

Investigation Underway

As of this report, the identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
