July 21, 2025 Jackson Heights, NY – Police from the 115th Precinct are actively searching for two individuals responsible for the violent mugging of a 26-year-old woman last month in Jackson Heights. The brazen daytime attack, which left the victim hospitalized, has prompted the NYPD to release surveillance images of the suspects and offer a substantial reward for information leading to their arrest.

The incident unfolded shortly before 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, in front of 37-55 74th Street. According to authorities, the victim was walking by when she became embroiled in a verbal dispute with a man and a woman. The altercation quickly escalated into a physical assault, with both assailants reportedly punching and kicking the victim repeatedly in the face and body.

During the struggle, the victim's cell phone fell to the sidewalk, causing its case to break open and a $20 bill to drop out. Seizing the opportunity, the duo allegedly snatched the cash and fled eastbound on 37th Road toward 75th Street.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the scene and transported the injured woman to Elmhurst Hospital. She was listed in stable condition following the assault.

  • The female suspect has black hair and was seen wearing a multi-colored midriff top, black shorts, and white and black sneakers.

To encourage public assistance, the NYPD is offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of these individuals.
