August 22, 2025 BROOKLYN NY — In a brazen and violent attack caught on camera, a man was savagely stabbed multiple times on a Brooklyn street in broad daylight. The New York Police Department has released shocking surveillance footage of the woman they say is responsible for the robbery and stabbing, which took place over the weekend.
The victim, a 40-year-old man, was walking near Belmont and Georgia Avenues in the New Lots section of Brooklyn around 7:10 a.m. on Saturday, August 16. Officials say he was suddenly confronted by a woman who stabbed him four times on the left side of his body before trying to rob him.
After the brutal assault, the suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a black SUV, heading north on Georgia Avenue. The victim was transported to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center by EMS. His condition has not been released.
The woman is described as last seen wearing a tan tank top and tan skirt.
